Job Description

• Perform credit analysis on corporates and provide rating recommendations to rating committees;

• Prepare rating committee presentations, including credit memos, rating reports, financial models and data, and other materials;

• Prepare and contribute to research and publications on industry and/or corporate creditworthiness;

• Collect data, undertake analyses and prepare templates in support of rating methodology development and refinement;

• Regularly update financial models on individual issuers; maintain macro and industry-level databases;

• Actively manage relationships with issuers, intermediaries and investors. Effectively communicate the rating methodologies and procedures.

• Participate in meetings with issuers, investment banks, regulators and other external parties.

• Work on special projects as directed by the analytical team manager;

• Ensure personal compliance with all relevant internal and external rules and regulations.

• Travel will be required within the region.

Skills & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or above

• Minimum 4 years of experience in an analytical position

• Strong quantitative skills and business acumen; Keen interest in understanding corporate strategies and financial performance;

• Strong financial statement analysis and communication skills;

• Self-starter who can work independently and in a team environment;

• Proficiency in Excel and Powerpoint; Working knowledge of Bloomberg is a strong advantage;

• Fluency in English and Mandarin is a must.
